Agile Chennai keynote, the Agile Customer/Product Owner Role
10/4/2007 – 10/5/2007
Channai, India
I was pleased to be asked to participate in Agile India’s Agile Chennai conference this year.
I'd initially planned ot talk about the forgotten essence of agile development – which for me was code for remembering to iteratively evolve your product as apposed to trying to predictively determine all your user stories up front. After getting to the conference, and seeing that the nature of the conference was learning about Agile development, I thought the best thing to talk about was the often neglected Agile customer or product owner role. I use a blend of user experience technique, more traditional business analysis, and Agile sensibility to fill that role. My talk was about that. The talk started late and ran long. Below is a link to the slide deck I used - including slides I ran out of time to present.
The conference was great fun. Thanks very much to hosts at Chennai University and Naresh Jain for arranging my visit.
